Summer is coming to an end, and fall is approaching quickly! It is hard to believe that we are already starting a new school year! It feels like just yesterday we were getting out for summer break! With fall coming, now is the perfect time to begin transitioning our wardrobes! I know that can feel intimidating, but it doesn’t have to be if you find pieces that can be worn for the remainder of the summer and into fall and winter!
If you have been here awhile, you know that I love items that can be worn in multiple different ways to create many different looks, and I believe that is the key to transitioning and building a versatile wardrobe that will last you through the entire cold season!
I wanted to share some of my favorite items that I use to transition my closet from summer to fall to help you get a jump start! I love getting clothing pieces that I can layer so that I can either add or remove depending on how the weather feels. If you are from the South like me, you know that it can be drastically different from day to day! One day it can be sunny and 75 and the next rainy and 40! No matter where you are or what weather you experience, these items are my go-to when it is time to start the wardrobe transition! When I think of fall, I also think of loungewear! As the days get cooler, there are little things that I love more than coming home to change into a good lounge set! During the fall and winter seasons they tend to become one of the main outfits that I wear everyday! They are perfect for days at home, but I also love wearing them when I am running into town, dropping my kids off at school, and even for some meetings! They come in so many different styles and colors that it makes it hard to not want them all! I wanted to share some of my favorites with you in case you also love loungewear during the colder months!
