A friend recently called me the “Holiday Queen,” and honestly it was one of my favorite compliments of all time. I LIVE for the holiday, but especially the Christmas season! One thing that has become a staple in our home is the Holiday Hot Chocolate Bar! I set it up on the night we put up the tree, and the kids absolutely love it!!! I keep our favorite Christmas mugs sat out with a hot chocolate packet or k-pod in each one for easy access then I store the extras in Christmas cookie jar. We have the cutest Nutcracker who is dressed like a baker (from Olivia’s first Nutcracker when she herself was a baker) who stands guard over the EXTREMELY popular holiday area.
I got the cutest little Hot Chocolate sign at the Target dollar section a few years ago, but found a similar one for you guys! Another favorite is the acrylic toppings canister that we got from Amazon last year. It has little serving spoons and holds four toppings at at time so we love to switch it up. Typically the kids top their hot chocolate with whipped cream and then add their toppings.
This year we added some festive garland and twinkle lights to make the area seem even more cozy!! All the items I found are available on Amazon!
