Oh sweet Vivi. Where do I even begin? A whole year of loving you. A whole year of being blessed by just the gift that you are. You have made the world a better place for sure. Your little grin, the way I have to look for you all around the house because you love to play quietly by yourself, the way you give kisses and hugs- just a few of the things that we love so much about you.
You are still nursing four times a day and love to eat and drink cow milk as well. You have two bottom teeth, but not for long. Your top two are coming in now too! You crawl all around and pull up all the time. Today, on your first birthday, you started standing alone without holding on to anything. So big and so quickly! You loved stuffed animals and baby dolls. It’s so cute to see you- as a baby- loving and patting your baby dolls. Makes my heart smile because I already know that you will be a sweet little mama one day. You have your own little language it seems. You jibber jabber, and it’s so clear that you know exactly what you are saying. You say mama all the time. You have recently started doing this blinking thing that is so precious! You look at me, lock eyes, and blink. When I blink back, you blink again and sometimes you blink twice then I do it back and you do it again too. If you get in trouble for throwing food off your tray, you look at me with zero expression and blink your eyes as if you’re saying, “Don’t mess with me.”
You are so loved. I am constantly in awe of you. And I am forever grateful that God blessed our little family with the gift of YOU. Happy first birthday my sweet Vivi Liz.
Love,
Mama
