EEEEK!!!! I FINALLY finished the boys’ room!! When we switched their rooms all around, we went from three kids in one room and a nursery to the girls in a room and the boys in a room. The boys went into the room that used to be the nursery, and it was a little bit of a challenge to get as much space out of this room as possible due to the roof slants. Thankfully we found the cutest beds at IKEA that fit under the slants as well as the drawers that fit underneath so we had no need for a dresser! We used the extra space for toy storage, which has been so nice! They play with it all more now that it’s all on display for them to see! I linked all the items we used at the bottom of this post for you!
I moved a few things out of their old room- like the rug and pictures on the walls. The long bookshelf was already in this room just on a different wall. We have used these IKEA closet systems in all of the kid rooms but this time we went with a bigger version, added a mirror door, and then added some drawers for shoe storage! In my Instagram Reel I took you on a peek of the inside! You can see it HERE!
For their bedding, I went with a simple striped version and it also came from IKEA. Can you tell we love IKEA?!! haha. The wall lamps are one of my favorite touches and tie it all in so well! Our wall colors are Satin Snow and came from Lowe’s! I’m linking it all at the bottom of this post for any of you that want to find any of the items!!
Hope you guys love their room as much as they (and I) do!!!
xoxo,
Lindsey
