Let’s talk fall staples! I love having pieces on hand to accessorize and dress up my fall and winter outfits. The most important things- I want feel cozy AND look cute. Each of these pieces are super versatile, will never go out of style, and add to literally any outfit you pair them with.
1. A good coat can dress up any outfit! I have had the same trench coat in my closet for going on five years now. A trench is definitely one of those pieces you should have in your closet. It can be worn with pants, dresses, dressed up, dressed down, you name it- a trench goes with it.
2. A cute beanie saves me time and time again when it’s cold outside. I have so many cute winter pics with a beanie on, and if you choose a cute neutral one like this, you can get away with having just one instead of multiples.
3. My Chelsea boots are some of my most worn shoes in the fall and winter months. They are actually really really comfy, keep my feet warm and dry, and look so cute with any outfit even dresses. I have them in each of these colors!
4. A good black belt dresses up any outfit! It can be worn with jeans, to change up the look of a dress, to transform a blazer into a dress, the possibilities with a good belt are endless.
5. A headband saves me A LOT of days! I tend to only wash my hair once a week so around day 5-6 you will most likely see me in a headband! I love the color of this one because it can be worn with any color outfit!
6. Scarves add so much to an outfit in my opinion. Especially if you choose a high quality one. I have probaby three really nice ones that I love to wear when it’s cold enough. If I were only going to have one in my closet, I would most definitely choose a good black one.
7. A houndstooth coat will dress up any outfit and instantly make you feel fancier! This one is pricey, but you will never ever need another one. It will last literally forever. I inherited some coats from my mother in law when she passed away, and because they are real deal nice coats, I will be able to pass them to my own girls one day. I feel like coats are sometimes overlooked as being “worth the money”, but they are totally worth the investment when you’re going to get years and years of wear out of them.
I hope you guys love these staples! I have something exactly the same or similar to every one of them in my own closet that I have used and loved for years!
Love, Lindsey
