Happy Halloween… from “somewhere over the rainbow.” 🌈 This year’s costumes might just be my favorite! We also had a scarecrow who ended up being sick and couldn’t come with us tonight… but we survived and had the best night! Also not pictured is Tux the Winged Spider Monkey- he refused to be excited about his adorable costume.
Nights like these remind me to embrace every single moment with these sweet kiddos! Nothing makes me happier than seeing the joy in their eyes as they get to dress up and go trick or treating together. I know that these memories that they are making are for a lifetime and that we will cherish each one that we get with each other. One day they will be creating matching costumes with families of their own.
Trunk or Treat
This Halloween season we also got the opportunity through our church to participate in a trunk or treat. This is a night where the members of our church dress up in our halloween costumes and decorate our trunks to create a fun and welcoming environment for people to bring their families to come and trick or treat before Halloween. We love getting to be apart of this night as a family because it is such a fun way for each of us to connect with the people in our community. This will definitely be added to our fall bucket list for next year! I can’t wait to hear all about the activities you and your families checked off your bucket lists this year!
I hope that you and your family had an amazing halloween!!
Now who is going to be the ones to tell my kids that they aren’t going to be able to eat all of their candy in one night?!
