The countdown is officially on! Olivia and I leave for Prague this week, and we could not be more excited! My daughter will be participating in a summer intensive for ballet that extends for about 2 weeks which means packing 2 weeks worth of clothes for two people! Personally, I find packing the least enjoyable part when it comes to a trip, especially when you are packing to go to a place that you have never traveled to before where you are unsure about the weather. So, I had to do a little research and found that the temperatures where we are going range from the upper 80’s to the lower 60’s. I knew that this meant I would have to plan outfits that could work for both warmer and cooler temperatures.
Packing can already be a struggle because there is only so much room to fit everything in and y’all know I am the type to have to sit on my suitcase to even get it to zip! This is what lead me to create a Travel capsule wardrobe to find pieces that could be styled in many different ways to create enough outfits to last the whole trip. I knew that I was going to have to bring clothing pieces that could not only be used more than once but could also be layered so that I could add or remove pieces depending on the temperature!! The capsule has made the packing process much more enjoyable, and has saved me SO much time! I think I am going to have to start doing this for every trip! If you missed the travel capsule, be sure to take a look here!
Now that our departure date has almost arrived, packing is in full swing, and I wanted to share with you 11 different outfits that I will be taking along with me, and how I am using these pieces to create multiple looks!
stay tuned for all things Prague coming very soon!
